Lavandula 'Goodwin Creek Gray' is an evergreen shrub. This dense foliaged plant grows to 2.5'-3' high and 3'-4' wide. Foliage is silvery grey that are toothed at the tips. Deep violet-blue flowers appear above foliage from spring to late fall. This fragrant plant does best in full sun with well draining, alkaline soil. It needs regular watering when getting established, then occasional and then extra during hot spells. Flowers are great for bouquets and vase arrangements. This plant looks great in rock gardens, borders and containers.

The 'Morning Light' is also a taller variety, growing to 6'-8' tall and 4'-5' wide. It has delicate feathery plumes and very thin graceful leaves. This is a variegated form with white leaf margins that shimmer in sun. It should receive sun to part shade, and average watering but more during hot spells. This plant looks better with more irrigation. Tall grasses are highly combustible.

This broad tree will slowly grow to 20'-30' tall and wide. It has small, grey-green, evergreen leaves. Some folks are allergic to the blooms. This tree is very long lived, with a beautiful gnarled trunk. It prefers full sun and low watering in summer months (twice a month) and none during the winter, when established.
